March 31 to April 4
Lydig Construction will be working on:

1) Submission and approval of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan
2) Submission and approval of the demolition plan
3) Continuing the procurement of early mobilization items (i.e., fencing, trailers, etc.)

April 7 - 11
Civic Center Construction Fence
The construction fence went up on April 7 around the Civic Center construction site.
1)  Installation of temporary fencing around site perimeter
2)  Installation of temporary construction trailer
3)  Begin process of asbestos abatement
4)  Cut and cap sewer lines to buildings being demolished

Construction fencing is now in place around the Civic Center construction site.  The sidewalk on the north side of Cedar St. between Sequim Ave. and 2nd Ave. is partially closed.  The bus stop has moved from 2nd Ave. on the west side of the Transit Center, 190 W. Cedar St., for the duration of the project.

April 14 - 18
asbestos removal continues
Asbestos removal continues.The construction crew prepares for building demolition.
This week Lydig Construction will be working on:

1)  Continue asbestos abatement
2)  Cut and cap sewer lines to buildings that will be demolished
3)  Begin building demolition

April 21 - 25
City Hall demolition complete
Demolition of the old city hall building is complete.
This week Lydig Construction will be working on:

1) Abatement work in the Serenity House apartment building
2) Breaking up concrete and hauling it to the recycle pit
3) Demolition of duplex at 171 W. Spruce St.
4) Removal of the 2 parking lot lights east of the Transit Center

April 28 - May 2
demolition of serentity shop complete
Demolition of the Serenity Shop is complete.
Lydig Construction will be working on:

1) Demolition of the Serenity House Apartment Building
2) Breaking and separating debris and hauling
3) Work directive work on additional abatement and unforeseen tank removal
4) Pre-construction meeting with earthwork subcontractor and mobilization to site
