March 2 - 6, 2015

Crews install wall tile in the bathrooms at the new Civic Center.
West Cedar Street will be reduced to one lane of eastbound traffic from March 2 - March 23 for sidewalk construction.

Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1)  Painting walls and door frames on first and second floor
2)  Installation of acoustical ceiling grid on first and second floor
3)  Installation of hardi-panels, metal siding, and sheet metal work
4)  Transit parking lot asphalt paving (weather permitting)
5)  Installation of casework on first and second floor
6)  Installation of lockers
7)  Grading and demo for plaza enhancement work
8)  Cedar Street parking striping work
9)  Bathroom tile installation

The alley will remain closed for the foreseeable future until bollards can be installed around the new electrical transformers.



March 9 - 13, 2015
parking lot paving
Porous asphalt paving is installed at the Transit Center parking lot.
Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1)  Painting walls and door frames on the first and second floor
2)  Installation of light fixtures and diffusers on the first and second floors
3)  Painting of exterior hardi-panels
4)  Installation of ceramic tile and plumbing fixtures in bathrooms
5)  Installation of casework on first and second floor
6)  Installation of lockers
7)  On-going grading and demo for plaza enhancement work
8)  Cedar Street striping work

The alley will remain closed for the foreseeable future until bollards can be installed around the new electrical transformers.

March 16 - 20, 2015
Carpet installed
Carpeting and casework are installed on the first floor.
Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1)  Painting walls and door frames on the first and second floor
2)  Installation of light fixtures and diffusers on the first and second floors
3)  Painting of exterior hardi-panels
4)  Installation of ceramic tile and plumbing fixtures in bathrooms
5)  Installation of casework on the first and second floors
6)  Installation of flooring
7)  Excavation and installation of utilities for plaza enhancement work

March 23 - 27, 2015
patio tiles
Exterior hardi-panels are painted and tile is installed on the second floor patio area.

March 30 - April 3, 2015
sidewalk pouring
Crews pour the sidewalk along Cedar Street on the south side of the Civic Center.
SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION CONTINUED - West Cedar Street will be reduced to one lane of eastbound traffic through April 2 for sidewalk construction.

Lydig Construction will be working on the following:

1) Installation of light fixtures and diffusers on the first and second floors
2) Painting of hardi-panels
3) Installation of wood ceilings in Council Chambers
4) Installation of ceramic tiles and plumbing fixtures in bathrooms
5) Installation of casework on the first and second floors
6) Installation of flooring
7) Installation of elevator
8) Excavation and installation of utilities for plaza enhancement work
9) Pouring sidewalks and curbs

 The alley will remain closed for the foreseeable future until bollards can be installed around the new electrical transformers.
