Project extends water and sewer service along W. Sequim Bay Rd to serve commercial and residential development in E. Sequim. The current project includes:
Expansion of sewer service eastward on W Sequim Bay Rd with construction of 5,100 LF of 8 in. gravity sewer line, 5,100 LF of 8 in. sewer force main from Forrest Rd to Independence Dr, 1,800 LF of 12 in. gravity sewer line from Washington Harbor Rd to Independence Dr, and a 400-gpm lift station at Forrest Rd. Design of sewer service is being funded through the Department of Ecology's Water Quality Combined Funding Program and latecomer's fees.
Expansion and looping of water service eastward on W Sequim Bay Rd with construction of 2,330 LF of 12 in. water pipe from Independence Dr to Junco Rd, and 1,000 LF of 12 in. water main to connect Washington Harbor Lp.
Provides necessary infrastructure required for developer driven project to expand the PNNL site. Provides connection capacity to anticipated residential developments & John Wayne Marina. Reduces on-site septic systems along Sequim Bay.
