Traffic and Transportation

Overview

Traffic needs in the City of Sequim cover a wide range of users. Vehicle mobility through and around the City is important for everyone, but Sequim also has a vibrant walking, hiking, and biking community.

There are 54 miles of public streets inside the City limits and several more miles of pedestrian/bike paths. The City also owns seven traffic signals and operates three roundabouts. The link to the left provides instructions for using a roundabout.

Improvements to the system are guided by the adopted Transportation Master Plan.

A Transportation Benefits District was instituted originally in 2008 to assist paying for capital improvements. View more information on projects conducted utilizing TBD funds.
