We are acutely aware of the impacts to local businesses and non-profits from COVID-19. The City is working with local agencies to provide a list of resources.

RESOURCE LIST

COVID-19 Small Business Rapid Relief Program - The City of Sequim has partnered with the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce to offer a grant program for small businesses inside the City limits.

Association of Washington Businesses - Obtain a list of resources, answers to COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions, and view weekly webinars including top state and regional officials discussing the latest updates on the COVID-19 impact to employers.

Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship Coronavirus (COVID-19) Business Resources in Washington State -  Obtain Federal and State resources and information to support businesses.

Chamber of Commerce - Sequim  - Obtain information to provide input on local and nation initiatives assisting profit and non-profit organizations, receive clarification as to what constitutes as an “essential” business, and discover ways to support local businesses.

Choose Clallam First -  Obtain business and community resources, and connections to social media, to support Clallam County.

COVID-19 Business Resources for Washington State Businesses & Workers - Governor Jay Inslee’s Page: Obtain a list of resources to support economic retention and recovery related to COVID-19 .

Impact Washington Business Continuity Planning - Develop a plan to maintain operations and manage the response to a crisis.

North Olympic Development Council - Obtain a list of resources to assist business managing the COVID-19 crisis.

StartUp Washington – Washington State Department of Commerce Crisis Planning Tools & Resources - Obtain resources to work through a crisis, whether man-made or natural.

US Small Business Administration Coronavirus (COVID-19): Small Business Guidance & Loan Resources - Obtain information regarding coronavirus funding options, guidance for business and employers, local business assistant, joining the SBA’s relief efforts, and SBA products and resources.


GRANT-BASED ASSISTANCE

Governor’s Strategic Reserve Fund: Up to $5 million will be made available as small grants to small businesses across the state to help prevent closure due to COVID-19. The state Department of Commerce will coordinate an application process. Stay tuned for more details.

Facebook has established a Small Business Grants Program to assist businesses in addressing the impacts of COVID-19. These grants will include both cash grants and ad credits.

SHORT AND LONG-TERM LOAN OPTIONS 
US Small Business Administration
is offering Economic Injury Disaster Loans to businesses that suffer substantial economic impact as a result of COVID-19. Generally, these low-interest loans provide working capital to assist small businesses in meeting financial obligations and operating expenses. Learn more and apply.

Business Impact NW provides low-interest loans to community-based nonprofits and small businesses, with more flexible criteria than traditional financial institutions. Additionally, it has compiled an outstanding set of COVID-19 resources.

Craft3 provides low-interest loans to community-based nonprofits and small businesses, with more flexible criteria than traditional financial institutions. Additionally, it is allowing existing Craft3 clients to revise their loan agreements (i.e. due date extensions, temporary payment reductions, etc.).


NON-PROFIT RESOURCES

United Way - Covid 19 Resources - Obtain a list of resources, identify volunteer opportunities, and locate financial, food, and childcare assistance.

United Way - Covid 19 Response Fund - Obtain support including but not limited to, scholarships for childcare, food for food banks and other places providing free meals, and support for keeping people employed at non-profits that are providing direct services.
