The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will be closing the South Sequim Avenue on- or off-ramps for repairs on Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 10, each day, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers on US 101 are encouraged to add extra time or consider alternate routes. WSDOT maintenance crews will complete the pavement repairs and chip seal all associated ramps as part of their summer maintenance effort.
Crews plan to repair the eastbound ramps first, followed by the westbound ramps. Portable message signs placed near this location advise travelers to consider alternate routes. Due to humidity and moisture concerns, this work requires daytime weather conditions. The work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.
Sequim Access to 101 During Repairs
Eastbound and Westbound traffic please use the River Road exit. Westbound traffic may also choose the Simdars Road exit.
