Surveys are now available for public input on the Sequim Understory, the development of Centennial Place at the corner of Sequim Avenue and Washington Street. The survey is available on-line at https://www.sequimwa.gov/983/Sequim-Understory. Paper copies will be mailed to Sequim City residents with the May utility bill newsletter and can be mailed back to the Sequim Civic Center Attention Sequim Understory at 152 West Cedar Street, Sequim, WA 98382 or dropped off between the double doors of the Civic Center on the south side of the building. The deadline to return the survey is Tuesday, August 31.
Marina Shipova has been selected as the artist fellow to engage with the public and develop a photographic story of local interest. Shipova is a classically trained artist, photographer, and educator. She will be developing a presentation to share with the public on November 5 to reveal what she learned through the community engagement process.
