The Sequim Sunshine Festival planning committee is looking for Sequim restaurants to participate in the Restaurant Romp event leading up to and over the festival weekend March 4 & 5, 2022. The deadline to participate is Monday, January 31.
Participating dining and beverage establishments are asked to offer a discount on an established menu item or create a special menu item for the festival that would be available February 15 through March 5. All specials will be included on a “menu” punch card that will be available to the public. The card will be punched by the restaurant when the special or discounted item is ordered. Cards that obtain a specified number of punches can be turned in for a prize drawing.
All participating restaurants will be listed on the visitsunnysequim.com tourism website as a part of the Sequim Sunshine Festival information, promoted on social media and in festival materials. There is no cost for restaurants to participate.
The first Sequim Sunshine Festival was held in March of 2020 to help shake the winter blues and celebrate the coming of the spring and summer seasons. A modified version of the festival was held in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions. A full festival is being planned for 2022 including the Sun Fun Color Run, illuminated drone show, and art and light installations.
