[ARCHIVED] Call for Artists - Digital Origins; Artistic Expression Through Technology

The City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC) is seeking submissions of artwork created using computer aided technology for the next exhibit in the Karen Kuznek-Reese Gallery at the Sequim Civic Center.  

The theme for the exhibit is “Digital Origins; Artistic Expression Through Technology.”   The CAAC is accepting submissions of all forms of digital art including, but not limited to digital illustration, electronic literature, digital painting, digital photography, 3-D printed sculpture, digital architecture, electronic music, fractal art, Gif art, motion graphics, photo manipulation, and pixel art,

Deadline for submissions is Wednesday, May 17 at 4:00 p.m.  Only digital applications will be considered.  To enter, complete the form at this link which allows you to download up to three images (preferably 300 dpi) per entry https://www.jotform.com/build/231065471232144.

All entries will be juried by the CAAC by Monday, May 22 and artists will be notified of their status by Wednesday, May 24. Artwork delivery will be scheduled for May 26 and 27.   The Artist Reception and Exhibition Opening will take place during the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, June 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  The exhibit will be on display June 2 – June 28.
