City of Sequim Deputy Clerk Bobbie Usselman has been elected as a Board Member of the Washington Municipal Clerks Association (WMCA). Usselman was sworn in at the annual business meeting of the association on March 21, 2013 in Tacoma, Washington.
WMCA is a statewide organization of over 300 city, county, transit, and district clerks. They are dedicated to providing professional development, education, and networking resources for their members. In cooperation with the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, WMCA encourages standards of excellence and provides opportunities for clerks to achieve formal certification within their profession.
Usselman earned the designation of Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Inc. in 2012. She has worked for the City of Sequim as Deputy Clerk since May of 2005.
