Sidewalk ramp construction on East Washington Street and North 7th Avenue in Sequim is scheduled to begin on September 5, 2013 and is expected to be completed by the third week of October. The construction will take place on the north and south side of East Washington Street, between Dunlap Avenue and Brown Road, and on North 7th, between West Washington Street and West Spruce Street. The work will bring the sidewalk ramps up to American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. The work will be performed by Lakeside Industries.
Drivers can expect traffic and pedestrian control during working daylight hours of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is no parking allowed along the north and south side of East Washington Street between Dunlap Avenue and Brown Avenue.
