Work to construct the new South 14th Avenue in Sequim is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 7, 2011. The work will take place Monday through Friday and will begin each day at 7:00 a.m. It is expected that the road construction will be complete by mid-December. The work will be completed by Seton Construction.
South 14th Avenue is a new street between Grant Road and W. Washington Street at the west end of the city. Construction of the new street will allow easier access to River Road from area businesses. Because this is a new street, traffic delays will be minimal and will not impact traffic flow on River Road.
