[ARCHIVED] City of Sequim Releases New Tourism Video

The City of Sequim has released a new tourism video to enhance the marketing efforts to bring more visitors to Sequim. The video is titled “How Do You Say Sequim?” playing on how often the name of the City is mispronounced. In addition to saying “Sequim” locals tell us that Sequim is Friendly, Sunny, Colorful, Wild, Adventurous, Fun, and Delicious.

“Having a tourism video gives us another way to tell our story about what makes Sequim special,” said City of Sequim Communications and Marketing Director Barbara Hanna. “Playing off of the name of the City is a fun way to frame that story.”

The video can be viewed on the Sequim tourism website www.visitsunnysequim.com, or on YouTube at http://youtu.be/arwF89_rpR8
The City encourages local businesses to link to the video on their websites and for individuals and organizations to share through Facebook and other social media sites.

The City worked with local videographer and photographer John Gussman at Double Click Productions to produce the video. Local musician Gilbert Yslas composed and performed the original music.

The City would like to thank the many community members and local businesses that participated in the making of the video. The project could not have been completed without their cooperation and support.
