[ARCHIVED] Volunteer Work Party at Sequim City Park

The City of Sequim is hosting a volunteer work party on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Terrace Gardens at the Water Reuse Demonstration Site just north of Carrie Blake Park. Volunteers are encouraged to come by and assist the Terrace Gardeners, a group of volunteers that meets once a month to care for the Terrace Garden, and help them spruce up the display in time for the busy tourism season.

Volunteers should bring gloves, a hat, weeding tools, knee protection, a bucket for weeds, and drinking water. Wheelbarrows will be on site. People interested in volunteering should meet shortly before 1:00 p.m. at the Water Reuse Demonstration Site Interpretive Center. The parking lot is accessible from Blake Avenue.

Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Pam Leonard-Ray at 360-582-2447 or pleonard-ray@sequimway.gov or City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese at 360-681-3428 or kkuznek@sequimwa.gov with questions.
