[ARCHIVED] Sequim’s 2014 Karaoke Idol Selected

The City of Sequim held the third annual Karaoke Idol competition as part of the 2014 Music in the Park program on Tuesday, August 5. Fourteen contestants sang for the title with Brian Klein winning first place for his versions of “You Sang to Me” and “Unchained Melody.” Ron Gwaldis won second place and Natalie Wilson third place in the competition. Hosts for the evening were Pepper Fisher and Sue Hagener. The judges were City representatives Elray Konkel, Mayor Candace Pratt and Councilor Ken Hays.

The City of Sequim would like to thank the 2014 sponsors of the Music in the Park program: Presenting sponsor Kitsap Bank, M&M Sponsors include an anonymous citizen, Avamere Olympic Rehab, Brokers Real Estate Group, Jarmuth Electric, Christopher Shea and Gray & Osborne; Friends of M&M are Les Schwab Tire, Sophie’s Florist and US Bank. The Music in the Park program is funded by local businesses and citizens bringing 10 weeks of fun and music to the City for the entire family.
