The City of Sequim held the third annual Karaoke Idol competition as part of the 2014 Music in the Park program on Tuesday, August 5. Fourteen contestants sang for the title with Brian Klein winning first place for his versions of “You Sang to Me” and “Unchained Melody.” Ron Gwaldis won second place and Natalie Wilson third place in the competition. Hosts for the evening were Pepper Fisher and Sue Hagener. The judges were City representatives Elray Konkel, Mayor Candace Pratt and Councilor Ken Hays.
