[ARCHIVED] City of Sequim Seeks Information about Area Volunteer Opportunities

Through its Making a Difference: Sequim Volunteers program, the City of Sequim is collecting information about volunteer opportunities in and around the City of Sequim. These opportunities, which will primarily be from 501 (c) (3) organizations, are posted on the City website www.sequimwa.gov along with the City of Sequim’s volunteer positions. Special Projects Volunteer, Debbie Mink, has collected several entries so far, but is hoping to expand the list.

“This project grew out of conversations with prospective volunteers. Many people who are new to Sequim struggle not only to find a volunteer opportunity that “fits” but also to figure out what is available for volunteers,” said Volunteer Coordinator Pam Leonard-Ray.

If you would like to include your volunteer opportunity on the list or have questions about the program, please contact City Clerk Karen Kuznek-Reese at kkuznek@sequimwa.gov or 360-681-3428, Volunteer Coordinator Pam Leonard-Ray at pleonard-ray@sequimwa.gov 360-582-2447, or Special Project Volunteer, Debbie Mink at dmink@sequimwa.gov.
