SEQUIM – Traffic will be reduced to one lane heading eastbound on West Cedar Street between Sequim Avenue and 2nd Avenue beginning Monday, March 2 through Monday, March 23, 2015 for sidewalk construction. The street will be closed to westbound traffic.

The Jefferson County Transit stop will be moved temporarily from West Cedar Street in front of the Transit Center to 2nd Avenue just south of Cedar Street during the construction.

Businesses on West Cedar Street will be open during the construction project.

The parking spaces on the south side of West Cedar Street are changing from parallel striping to diagonal striping as recommended in the City of Sequim Downtown Plan and to provide more room for parallel parking on the north side of West Cedar Street in front of the new Civic Center.
