SEQUIM—Effective Monday, July 25 following the ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m., there will be 63 new parking spots available, and a new driveway will reroute vehicle traffic through the north side of Carrie Blake Community Park. Cars will enter off of Blake Avenue and travel one way exiting off of Rhodefer Road. Visitors traveling in cars to the park will no longer be able to enter through Rhodefer Road. These changes will increase the safety of visitors who utilize the park and better support the numerous events at the park including the use of the Albert Haller Playfields and the James Center for the Performing Arts. The project was completed through the partnership of the Sequim Family Advocates, the Haller Foundation, and the City of Sequim.
