SEQUIM—An exhibit of historical Sequim Police Department memorabilia is on display in the lobby of the Sequim Civic Center, located at 152 West Cedar Street, through the month of May in honor of National Police Week, May 14 - 20.
The exhibit includes uniforms, badges, and patches worn by Sequim Police Officers through the years, and serves as a timeline of significant events in the department. An area is set-up where visitors can take their own “mug shot” and has an additional photograph opportunity with a cutout of an officer in the K-9 Officer display area.
Police Sergeant Mike Hill, Officer Kindryn Leiter, and Officer Rick Larsen worked with the Sequim Museum and Arts Center in putting the exhibit together.
The Sequim Civic Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
