[ARCHIVED] Music in the Park Hosts Sixth Annual Karaoke Idol Contest

The Sixth Annual Karaoke Idol contest will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, as part of the City of Sequim’s Music in the Park program. The contest will be at the James Center for the Performing Arts (JCPA) in Carrie Blake Community Park, located at 500 N. Blake Avenue. 

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family and picnic to the park to enjoy a free evening of great entertainment. 

If you are interested in being a contestant, visit the City’s Music in the Park webpage at http://www.sequimwa.gov/index.aspx?nid="512" to view the rules and application. Registration is first come, first serve, starting at 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, at the JCPA. Fifteen applicants will be chosen. To save time, choose your songs in advance, complete your registration form and bring it with you. Song selections are available at these websites: www.singsnap.com; www.karafun.com; and www.karaokechannel.com. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants. 

Music in the Park is held each Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through August 29, 2017.
