[ARCHIVED] City of Sequim Seeks Applicants for AWC Scholarship

The City of Sequim is now accepting applications for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Center for Quality Communities Scholarship Fund. The Center will award six $1,000 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors. The scholarship is available through a statewide competitive process for students who are actively engaged in their community and/or city government and plan to attend a post-secondary school in fall 2018.

To be eligible, a student must be graduating from high school, home school or receiving a GED in spring/summer 2018; live in the Clallam County boundaries of the Sequim School District; plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary institution in the 2018-2019 academic year on a half-time or more basis; and currently be involved or have been involved with a city government or with a community/school leadership activity.
 
Information and application materials can be obtained at http://cfqc.org. Completed applications are due to the City no later February 16, 2018. Submit completed materials to:
