SEQUIM—Please join the City Arts Advisory Commission (CAAC) for the opening of the “Raining Cats and Dogs” exhibit and artist reception on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar Street.
The CAAC reviewed 14 pieces of work from eight artists to be included in the show. The artists represented are Janis Christian, Michelle Delli Gatti, Lloyd Taylor, Mary Jendrucko, Marilynn Evans, Susan Shaw, R. Evan Miller and Pat Starr. The exhibit will be on display until March 31, 2018.
Art Talk on the Art Walk: The opening event will include demonstrations from local presenters talking about pets and health:
5:00 Sequim Dog Park volunteers will be coming in to provide information on exercise tips for your pets in inclement weather and beyond.
5:15 Vicki Swan “The Art of Going Grain Free” learn the benefits of choosing a grain free diet for your pets, and how to make your own doggie treats.
5:45 Best Friend Nutrition "Help Navigate Pet Food Labels"
6:15 Sudzy Dogz will have a grooming demonstration for the fashion show.
6:30 WAG will be bringing in their adoptable dogs for grooming/makeover and fashion show.
