Posted on: June 11, 2018[ARCHIVED] Sequim Service Fest Continues into the Second Week
Habitat for Humanity Care-A-Vanners are back at work for the second week of Sequim Service Fest.
Projects scheduled for the final week include: complete the painting of two homes on private properties on West Hammond and West Spruce Streets; reroof the picnic gazebo and Dryke Memorial, construct a mower shed, and level bricks at the Terrace Gardens at Carrie Blake Community Park; and complete construction of the seven neighborhood kiosks.
Sequim Service Fest Closing Ceremony and Concert
Sequim Service Fest will conclude on Friday, June 15 with a closing ceremony at 5:30 p.m., followed by a concert with Black Diamond Junction from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the James Center for the Performing Arts at Carrie Blake Park. Both events are free and everyone is welcome. Sequim residents are encouraged to wear the color of their neighborhood. Volunteer for Service Fest
Community members who want to volunteer for Service Fest can sign in at the Guy Cole Event Center at Carrie Blake Park each weekday morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. through June 15.

Sequim Service Fest is a first-of-its-kind event and is a partnership between The City of Sequim, Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County, and First Federal.
