[ARCHIVED] The City of Sequim Seeks Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Member

The Sequim City Council is seeking a representative to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC).

The Sequim City Council is seeking a representative to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC).  This appointee must be a representative of an activity authorized to be funded by revenue received from lodging tax funds, such as a visitors’ center, tourism bureau, festival, or activities that are advertised outside of the area that attracts tourists.

This committee consists of five voting members appointed by the City Council. One member shall be a Sequim City Council member, who will serve as Chair.  Two members shall be representatives of businesses required to collect the lodging tax and two members shall be persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by revenue received from lodging tax funds.  The voluntary board meets on a quarterly basis to perform the duties established in RCW 67.28.1817 and Ordinance No. 2010-018.
