The City of Sequim will host a public meeting on Wednesday, November 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 West Cedar Street. The goal of the meeting is to inform the public and to get feedback on ideas that were generated at a recent human services visioning meeting.
The visioning meeting focused on the areas of physical health, mental health, substance use disorders, sheltering, and food insecurity. Service providers in these areas met to develop possible new solutions that would better serve the Sequim community.
The Washington State Constitution allows the City to provide funding for such services, or to agencies that provide those services, for members of the community that are poor or infirm.
