[ARCHIVED] The City of Sequim is Seeking a Planning Commission Member

The Sequim City Council is currently seeking applicants for a vacancy on the City Planning Commission.  The four-year term expires in January 2020.  Applicants must reside in the Clallam County boundaries of the Sequim School District.  

The Planning Commission meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Civic Center with meetings lasting one to two hours. The only extra time commitment is to review meeting materials to be prepared for Commission discussion and to attend infrequent public meetings and events as an observer. This voluntary Commission serves as the City Council’s primary advisory body on policies, regulations, and capital spending related to growth and development.  It may also conduct proceedings on specific land use applications, such as subdivisions.
