What does the City charge for Sewer services?

These examples use rates effective January 1, 2023, for residents within the city limits.

Sewer customers on City water – “water-&-sewer class”:
Base Fee: $61.16

Sewer only customers – “sewer-only class”:
Base Fee: $64.57

Residents outside the city limits are charged 1.5 times the in-city rate or as set by contract.

Business customers on City water & sewer are charged a base rate based on their water meter size. Customers that use more than 600 cubic feet of water are charged a sewer usage fee of $.063943, per cubic foot for each cubic foot over 600.

How to calculate:
 Total Used = 700 cubic feet:
 Base Fee: $97.14 (for a 3/4" size)
 Sewer Usage over 600 cubic feet: $6.39 (100 x .063943)
 Sewer Bill = $103.53
