Pioneer Memorial Park is a beautiful 4-acre park and clubhouse in the heart of downtown Sequim, maintained by the Sequim Prairie Garden Club. The park is located at 387 East Washington Street.

The clubhouse and grounds provide a lovely setting for meetings, parties, weddings and family reunions or art / craft shows. The clubhouse, with a 90 person capacity, provides access to tables, chairs, a kitchen with two ranges, restaurant coffee maker and a refrigerator. There at no steps and the bathrooms are ADA compliant.

Pioneer Memorial Park is Sequim's first park. It was established in 1951 through the hard work of the Sequim Prairie Garden Club with the help of other service groups and volunteers. The park hosts an arboretum that includes a large stand of Garry oaks. There are also plantings that include ancient rhododendrons, shrubs, and perennials. Picnic tables and garden benches are also located throughout the park, many donated by pioneer families. The site is also home to many historical artifacts such as an 1893 hand-hewn log cabin. The park originated as Sequim's first cemetery but had to be abandoned due to flooding. Headstones remain for pioneers whose family members could not be located for burial transfers.

Sequim Prairie Garden Club maintains the park through clubhouse rentals, fundraising activities and member work parties. The club's monthly meetings offer great educational programs plus a fun social atmosphere. To volunteer in the park or join the club, call us at (360) 808-3434 or email for reservations.  Please view the scheduling calendar to check facility availability.

Donations for the maintenance of the Park are welcomed. Mail a check to PO Box 46, Sequim WA 98382 or credit card through website -
