I owned an aerospace research company for a number of years in San Diego.
Before that I was the CEO of World Trade Center Sacramento, Economic Development
Director for the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, and the Director for Quality Management
for Aerojet Rocket Company.
I owned a leadership training company working primarily with AT&T labor union officers
and stewards. I was also an adjunct professor teaching Strategic Management in the MBA
program. Previously, I was an Air Force B-52 flight officer and then an Air Force Reservist for
30 years spending a great deal of time assisting in USAF base closures.
I moved to Sequim in 2016 with my wife Cathy to be near our family in Seattle and to play
golf year-round under our rain shadow. I served on the Sequim Planning Commission from
March 2018 through December 2019. I currently serve as council liaison to the Planning
Commission and on the Fort Worden Advisory Committee advising State Parks.
Common sense, direct talk, apolitical answers, and a bias-for-action are my approach to City
Council participation.
