My wife and I are from the PNW and wanted to settle in the community we will eventually retire into as our career begins to wind down. We are so fortunate and grateful to be able to settle in Sequim. I was raised in Portland and graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Portland State University. We have spent our career with a faith based non-profit organization, Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL), first in Sudan, then regionally across Africa and most recently in Central Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. SIL focuses on communities marginalized (and often oppressed) by language, education, access to local and global civil society resources, etc.
I love being in Sequim to access hiking in the ONP and engaging in the Run the Peninsula 10k events.
