Low Income Utility Discount
Program Description
To financially assist those struggling in meeting their basic needs, utility rate reductions are available for qualifying low income residents. If you have qualified with Olycap LIHEAP program or your income does not exceed 150% of the federal poverty guidelines, or if you have a SNR/DSBL discount on your property tax you may qualify. The exact amount of your discount will be administratively determined upon receipt of all applications for the 2023 program. Qualifying applicants will see the discounted rates on their January usage bill.

Applications for the 2023 discount are due January 15, 2023 and are available on-line and at the following locations: City Finance Dept., DSHS, Sequim Community Aid, St Vincent De Paul, Serenity House, United Way and the Sequim Senior Center.
